Company Introduction
SUNWHITE Co., Ltd originates from CIVILIGHT in 2001, focuses on healthy and human-oriented LED lighting products, ensures growth and health of plants and animals LED (including invisible light UV and infrared LED) products, safe and simple human-oriented intelligent lighting control system product design, development, manufacturing and sales.
The company currently has 250 employees, including 36 R&D engineers; owns 3 factories: special LED (UV, FR, custom white light) factory located in Shenzhen; smart system and dedicated power supply factory located in Shenzhen; light source, module and luminaire factory located in Foshan.
Since 2001, we have been committed to white LED packaging and lighting products. In 2024, we will position the company in three fields:

Safe, Healthy Light
We consistently improve LED light quality because we firmly believe that safe and healthy light is the light humanity truly needs. Artificial light is not just about illumination—it should be as safe and beneficial to humans as sunlight!
In the past, we achieved higher CRI, blue-light-free LED lighting earlier than major international lighting companies. We used HALED (LED HALOGEN), LEDINCAND (LED INCANDESCENT), Dim to Warm technologies to enhance LED light application in different scenarios.
Simultaneously, adhering to environmental principles, all products comply with European RoHS, REACH requirements in every component and production process since 2005.
Today, our SUNWHITE technology creates natural sunlight environments for improved light environments, uses rhythmic light to improve human health, reduces pesticide use in crops through light technology, and minimizes medication in animals.
Moreover, we ensure user privacy and information security in intelligent products by adopting SUNWHITE technology and iDr. technology independent of WIFI/internet.

We deeply understand that poor quality harms customers, users and the company. A single defective product can bankrupt a century-old enterprise or destroy a family.
Therefore, we strictly control product quality throughout R&D, production, testing and inspection to prevent substandard products from reaching consumers.
Our stable quality has long been popular in the market. However, a 1% defect rate caused by a decade-long trusted supplier once led to massive returns and loss of customer trust—a lesson that reinforced our commitment to uncompromising quality.

Company History
2001: Because of the birth of white LED, Richard Xue realized the application prospects of LED in lighting, left Taiwan Guangbao Company and founded SUNLIGHT in Shenzhen, focusing on white LED and UVLED R&D, production and sales;
2002: Designed and produced LED modules for flashlights, ranking first in Chinese market share;
2003: Began designing and producing Dip. LED glass spotlights, mass-producing for SYLVANIA, EGLO, Aldi, etc.;
2005: Used CREE and SSC high-power LEDs to produce LED spotlights and bulbs, subsequently supplying SYLVANIA, OSRAM, GE, DURALAMP, HIDELITE, Aldi for over 10 years;
2006: Established CIVILIGHT company, specializing in LED spotlight, LED bulb and T8, T5 production;
2007: Established PLANK factory, specializing in 3528/5050 SMD production for LED T8 and bulbs;
2008: Merged SUNLIGHT into CIVILIGHT, established Jiangsu company specializing in bulb and spotlight production for North American markets;
2010: Established CIVILIGHT GmbH in Germany to provide technical support and services for European customers;
2012: Launched SUNWHITE brand in the Netherlands and Belgium, specializing in plant growth LED BR LAMP and linear luminaires for GREENHOUSE; developed engineering agents;
2013: Established CIVILITY NA company in the United States; designed "LED Incandescent" technology;
2014: Launched standard glass LED spotlight CLASSICHALED, exported in large quantities to Nordic and German-speaking regions; launched DTW HALED SPOTLIGHT Lamp and DTW LED Incand Bulb;
2015: Established FOSHAN CIVILIGHT factory, specializing in luminaire and spotlight production;
2016: Established CViTec Shenzhen company, specializing in luminaires; established branches in multiple regions of China, Russia and West Asia to explore markets; renamed CIVILIGHT GmbH to CViTec GmbH;
2017: Renamed CIVILIGHT GmbH to CViTec GmbH;
2018: Merged Jiangsu factory into FOSHAN CViTec factory, abandoned North American bulb business;
2019: Due to excessive market investment without achieving sales expectations, closed North American company, abandoned Chinese local dealer channels; merged Shenzhen CIVILIGHT factory into FOSHAN CViTec factory; abandoned LED bulb products;
2020: Began designing lighting-grade LED strips, most strips currently achieving ERPA/B/C level; developed SUNWHITE intelligent health lighting system for HCL lighting;
2023: Due to COVID-19 and war impacts, company performance severely affected, closed CViTec GmbH; established SUNWHITE company, began UV LED applications in plant/animal lighting and health fields; designed designer-specific LED strips, most notably 2mm wide foldable SILK filament;
2024: Integrated FOSHAN CViTec and SHENZHEN CIVILIGHT into SUNWHITE; repositioned as a global leader in hotel LED lighting, industrial office lighting light engines, and agri-animal health/growth lighting systems.

Zu diesem Zweck verfügt Civilight über ein eigenes F&E-Zentrum mit den neuesten Ausstattung und hat außerdem sowohl Produktionsstätten am Stammsitz in Shenzhen als auch in Quidong (nähe Shanghai). 10 % des Jahresumsatzes investieren wir in die Weiter- und Neuentwicklung von Leuchtmitteln. Dieses Investment führte bis Heute zur Erteilung von mehr als 200 weltweit gültigen Patenten und der Entwicklung zahlreicher, innovativer und herausragender LED-Beleuchtungen. Die Qualität und die herausragenden Lichteigenschaften unserer Produkte genießen bei unseren Kunden weltweit einen guten Ruf.
